Lisa Beller
I spent nearly 20 years working for educational publishing companies doing design, layout and production.
I have extensive experience working with books and long publications and I have also designed brochures, annual reports and covers for books and magazines.
In my spare time my passions are reading books and newspapers, attending live music and theater events, dancing, supporting social justice issues, hanging out in nature and walking my dog.

A note about the name . . .
A dear friend used to call me Isabella, a play on my full name. So in memory of her enthusiasm for possibilities, I decided to drop the first and last letter of my name, and use that as the basis for the name isabelle design.

Performed quality assurance checks on read-along ebooks to ensure consistency and accurate conversion from print and epub formats.
CAPTIONIST
Disability Resource Center, University of Minnesota
Provided live and post-production captioning services to the University community. Promoted disability self-advocacy, universal design, equity, independence and fostering of a multicultural community. Designed accessible flyers, posters and print materials as needed.

Co-managed creative services department of educational publishing company. Supervised desktop publishing group. Provided graphics production support and staff training. Oversaw production of print materials. Monitored production schedules and developed production guidelines. Assisted with creating materials for data collection and field trials for research staff.
